About data reporting.

Does reporting require a new collection, or can it be added to any order?
Reporting is an add-on to any collection — mobile phone, email, cloud account, or computer. It can also be ordered on data previously collected by another examiner, provided we receive the raw export in a compatible format. Mention it during scoping and we'll confirm compatibility.
What's the difference between RSMF and a load file?
RSMF (Relativity Short Message Format) is a structured XML format specifically designed for SMS, chat, and messaging data in Relativity. A DAT/load file is a more general format used to import any document metadata into eDiscovery platforms. We'll match the format to whatever platform your firm uses — just let us know during scoping.
Can you apply keyword filters before exporting?
Yes. We can filter by keyword, date range, sender, recipient, or conversation thread before generating the export. All filter criteria are documented in the chain-of-custody report so opposing counsel can verify what was and wasn't included.
Is reporting included in the all-in-one bundles?
Yes — reporting is included in all three bundle packages (Mobile Data Package, Chat Data Package, and Email Data Package). Ordering a bundle saves $200–$225 compared to ordering collection, reporting, and a FRE 902(14) declaration separately.
