Can you collect from a locked or password-protected phone?

It depends on the device and OS version. For cooperative custodians, the passcode is all we need to begin. For locked devices without a known passcode, options vary by platform and situation — we'll assess what's possible during the free consult and won't take a case we can't complete.

What iOS and Android versions do you support?

We support current and recent iOS and Android versions using industry-standard forensic tools. We'll confirm compatibility for your specific device model and OS version during scoping — if a limitation exists, we'll tell you before you commit.

What if the phone has been factory reset or data deleted?

Some deleted data can be recovered depending on the device and how long ago deletion occurred. A factory reset significantly reduces recovery prospects, but we can still document the device's current state and any recoverable artifacts — which may itself be relevant evidence of intentional spoliation.

Can opposing counsel challenge the collection methodology?

Every collection follows court-tested forensic methodology — write-blocked acquisition, hash verification, and full chain-of-custody documentation. The examiner who performs the collection holds EnCE, MCFE, and CCME certifications and an MS in Digital Forensic Science, and is available to testify if needed.
